Come on!! It happens

People have been sacked, companies have shut down and we don't know what lies ahead on this confused road, given the woes of recession around us. Of course, having retained a job in these times feels as valuable as a precious asset! For most people, somehow the fear of being sacked lurks in the shadows every day that they enter the office. But there is a way to deal with the anxieties.

Put in a difficult situation, its very natural for anybody to feel pressurised but the key is to keep performing so that the challenge doesn't come up to your neck. There are cases where people have been settling down with the 15 percent, 20 percent salary cuts and on top of that they have been made to work long hours. Some people are looking for another job at a safer place but found that the situation wasn't any better elsewhere.

Even though many people have lost jobs around you, make sure you don't get into habits like excessive drinking and smoking. I do feel people need to speak with each other.I believe healthy gossip can relieve a lot of your stress. Rely on your friends and family and spend time with them.

Those in a work environment may feel sad about their colleagues who have been asked to leave but will at the same time also feel relieved that its not me. There is nothing wrong in this because it's human survival instinct to feel spared.

So friends, if one is facing job loss, then it is a very good time to take up a hobby that one has been wanting to pursue for a long time. This will definitely make you feel happy and divert your attention from the gloom that is all around. A hobby is good, but one must not waste money doing so as times are tough and you can't afford to be foolish with your valuable resources.

Catch you soon.........!!
